Winner Recap: Watch Guns N' Roses from the Front Row + Meet Duff McKagan at Louder Than Life

September 27th, 2019

Lori from from Kentucky won a trip to Louder Than Life to meet Duff! We caught up with her to hear all about her awesome weekend...

Propeller: How did you find out about Propeller and what type of actions did you complete to earn points towards winning this experience?

LORI: I think I found out about Propeller because Louder than Life promoted the contest on their Facebook post. I had completed a few other actions previously for other contests. I made a couple of donations. I also watched lots of videos and signed up for lots of newsletters to earn points for this contest. I just kept on seeing my chances increasing, so I kept on completing actions.

Propeller: What was the highlight of your time at Louder Than Life?

LORI: The highlight of Louder Than Life was the Guns N Roses performance, of course. And meeting Duff was off the charts! Stone Temple Pilots and ICE CUBE also had awesome sets. My husband was excited to see Suicidal Tendencies.

Propeller: What was your favorite performance and why?

LORI: My favorite performance was GNR. They are my all-time favorite band. I've seen them several times - this was my 4th time on this NOT IN A LIFETIME tour. Always a great show.

Propeller: How was your Duff meet and greet experience?

LORI: He was so nice and seems very kind hearted. He talked with us for several minutes before taking pictures and giving us a few guitar picks.

Propeller: Which non-profits at Propeller are most important to you and why?

LORI: I believe that To Write Love on Her Arms is a great cause. Everyone needs support from time to time. Mental health doesn't always get the support it needs to advance its cause over physical diseases. I'm glad I found out about this one. Oxfam is another one that I really support. I support the alleviation of poverty. No one chooses to be in poverty.

Propeller: Is there anything we could do to improve the experience?

LORI: I don't think there is anything you could have done to improve the experience. I am truly grateful.

Thanks to everyone who took part in the campaign!
