Winner Recap: Win a trip to meet Bazzi in LA

November 22nd, 2022

Kody H. from Phoenix, AZ was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win a trip to meet Bazzi in LA" that took place in November 2022. Below are some of Kody's highlights from the experience.

Well, how else can I start off by not thanking Propeller for a trip of a life time. Also, want to thank Hannah for everything. She made the itinerary super easy. So let's start!

My flight flew out of Sky Harbor (AZ) the 14th, the flight is about an hour. Flew Delta and man was it nice. Seemed like upgraded seats and free Wi-Fi crazy. We landed at LAX and went straight to the Uber pick up. Thanks to Propeller they sent us $200 Uber credits, the Uber took about an hour to the hotel. We stayed at Lowes Hollywood Hotel right on freaking Hollywood Boulevard! What a great hotel, service was awesome and the view was amazing. First night we just walked around Hollywood Boulevard and took an Uber to check out the venue Bazzi was performing.

Ok! It's the day of. Got to Wiltern theater about two hours before and wow there was over hundred people already in line but lucky we got the vip treatment. I was one of 50 people able to go in first, got a T-shirt and ready to do the meet and great. I know some are wondering how is Bazzi and let me tell you I was a little worried because you hear the stories about people meeting famous people but he was the nicest ever. Talked for a little and did a cool picture. After the meet and greet Bazzi did a 30 min q/a session. He picked my friend for a question and turns out his favorite song is Sweet Child of Mine. Concert time! He absolutely killed it, set was a little over an hour. It was so cool meeting other Bazzi heads literally befriended 5 plus people.

Concert over... but wanted to wait at the end hoping he would walk out the back. But before this I ask the Wiltern staff if I could have the big Bazzi poster in the front and yep bought it. I need this signed! So waited 30 mins nothing yet getting nervous. Bazzi's photographer Henry walked out and seen me with this 5ft poster. He said you won the contest right? Yes please can I get this signed. He gave me his number and said text tomorrow I'll see what I can do. I was stoked, but moments later here comes Bazzi! I ran up to him and right away he signed. He walked over to his Uber and I yelled I.F.L.Y (his song) he smiled and drove off. It was a trip and night of a life time and I'm forever grateful!
