Aiden T. from Illinois was the winner of the Propeller experience to "Win a Trip To Meet RIOPY in New York at His Album Release Show" that took place in June 2023. Below are some of Aiden's highlights from the experience.
I want to begin by saying a big THANK YOU to the Propeller team for this once in a lifetime experience.
Our visit to New York City was an incredible adventure filled with diverse experiences. We explored local restaurants, indulging in delicious dishes that satisfied all of our cravings.
The Moxy hotel impressed us with its stylish ambiance and comfortable accommodations. The staff were all very friendly and personable. The hotel included a rooftop bar with a small menu and provided a beautiful view of the city. A night club, piano bar, and sushi restaurant were also apart of the hotel.
Times Square dazzled us with its vibrant energy, while the 9/11 Memorial Museum left a profound impact on our hearts. There was so much to see and do, it was definitely hard to set a time limit in order to make it to The LPR in time for RIOPY's performance.
After going back to the hotel to get ready, we headed to Greenwich Village to Le Poisson Rouge for the show. RIOPY's intimate piano performance was pure magic, and meeting him as VIPs was an unforgettable privilege. While at the venue, we met Liz and Eric, a couple sitting in front of us who were completely engaged in his playing, and offered to invite them to meet RIOPY as well. RIOPY and his team loved the idea! It was truly an amazing experience for all of us.
Exploring Central Park and its charming zoo the day of our departure provided a serene escape amidst the urban hustle. It gave us a relaxing, slower paced activity for the day, while also being able to take in all that NYC had to offer.
Overall, our trip to NYC was a whirlwind of memorable moments that we'll cherish forever. Thank you again to the incredible team from Propeller that worked with us throughout the duration of our trip and made everything as seamless and stress-free as possible. THANK YOU!!
