In order to sustain operations, Propeller typically charges a small fee from any revenue earned by a cause that uses the platform. Propeller never charges a fee of more than 20% of revenues received via the platform. In addition, Propeller uses secure third party payment processors that also deduct their transaction costs. The applicable cause receives no less than 80% of the proceeds donated after deduction of fees and payment processing fees. About the Artist

Tim Wakefield is the artist and founder behind Soundwaves Art Foundation 501(c)3. Originally from London but based out of Lockhart, TX, Tim creates modern and unique art that combines music and technology by capturing the digital heartbeat of some of the world's most iconic music. To create each of his Soundwaves Art pieces Tim colors, distorts, and manipulates the actual soundwaves of songs through a proprietary art process he has created and honed for the past 11 years. Each piece is signed by the musician(s) behind the song, and 100% of profits are donated to charities focusing primarily on social justice, the environment, disaster relief, and mental health. Every year, Soundwaves Art raises over $1M for dozens of causes.

20% of the proceeds will go to Propeller to cover operational costs and Soundwaves and The Trevor Project will receive the rest.
