Award-winning singer, songwriter, producer and actress , Alicia Keys, is one of the music industry’s key players. And we keep on fallin’ in love with her more and more -- but not just for her musical talents.

In 2003, Alicia Keys co-founded Keep a Child Alive after hearing the story of a mother and child dying from HIV because they didn’t have access to medicine. Keep A Child Alive’s mission is to realize the end of AIDS for children and families by addressing the physical, social, and economic impacts of HIV.

The organization not only provides medical care to those living with HIV, but counsel to help victims stay on their treatment, and work to prevent new infections.

HIV and AIDS is more than a medical issue - it is a social issue. And who better to bring attention to an important cause than one of the biggest socialites in the world.
