REVERB and The Make Yourself Foundation teamed up to give one lucky winner the chance to hang with Incubus and Maroon 5 in Lima, Peru!

Lorraine Sandoval from Texas took her husband with her when she won. Read below for her recount of her favorite parts of the experience!

Propeller: How did you find out about Propeller and what type of actions did you complete to earn points towards winning this experience?

Lorraine: I first found out about Propeller through Incubus and MYF emails. I joined newsletters, signed petitions, watched videos and I also made donations to MYF and The Sierra Club.

Propeller: What was the highlight of your time in Lima?

Lorraine: Besides the concert, hanging with Incubus and meeting Maroon 5, our Downtown Tour was great! We had a great tour guide and we saw some of Lima's history there. Definitely visiting The Catacombs at The Convent of St. Francis was pretty unforgettable. The Church was insightful and the tombs were very strange and a bit creepy I must say. Also, we got to enjoy some delicious Churros and drink A Pisco Sour at the end of our tour. That's a drink not to forget!

Propeller: Did you meet Incubus and Maroon 5? How was this experience?

Lorraine: Yes! we got to meet the bands one at a time each before they went on stage. Meeting Maroon 5 was a short but sweet meet and greet with autographs and a pic to never forget. They were literally about to go on stage so it was quicker than our Incubus meet and greet. Meeting Incubus was AWESOME! We got the opportunity to converse with the guys and find out some cool details about their history, as well as some tips on where to visit and shop in Lima. Incubus is my favorite band so this was by far the best experience for me!

Propeller: Why are The Make Yourself Foundation and REVERB important to you?

Lorraine: MYF and REVERB are important to me because I believe in contributing to making our home (Earth) a liveable place for as long as possible. Being an active participant in protecting the environment and creating change is very important to me. The fact that these organizations are doing so on a large-scale and measurable change is wonderful. MYF has helped to donate to my home state of Texas for Hurricane Harvey and that goes very much appreciated. I hope that more people can help to contribute to organizations such as these and many others. The planet needs it!
